How am I supposed to open the idol doors at the bottom of the tower?

  • 1 of 11: Do you remember the opening cut-scene?
  • 2 of 11: You were taken through these very doors.
  • 3 of 11: And Yorda wasn't there to open them.
  • 4 of 11: One of the guards had some kind of sword on him.
  • 5 of 11: You should get that same sword.
  • 6 of 11: Notice there's a doorway opposite the idol doors.
  • 7 of 11: Walk through it -- the sword's in the next area past that.
  • 8 of 11: Head towards the pier and look to the left.
  • 9 of 11: There's a walkway along the side wall here.  Follow it until you find the sword at the top.
  • 10 of 11: Now walk back to the idol doors.  You will open them automatically now that you have the sword in hand.
  • 11 of 11: Just pull the switch inside to proceed back up to the tombs where you were first taken.
