Ico Hints

We're now back outdoors again. Where should we go next?

  • 1 of 8: Head to the far end of the "roof" from where you first entered, and you should see two sets of stairs leading down.
  • 2 of 8: One set, where the spirits appeared earlier, is a dead-end, but if you take the other set, you should see a ladder heading down.
  • 3 of 8: Go down this ladder, and explore the trolley tracks.
  • 4 of 8: There's a trolley cart at the right end of the tracks (that is, to the right as the camera's facing when you're near the bottom of the ladder).
  • 5 of 8: Jump onto the cart, and notice the lever on one side of the cart.
  • 6 of 8: Press CIRCLE as you're facing the lever and move the left analog stick left or right to push or pull the cart in the corresponding direction.
  • 7 of 8: You'll probably want to bring Yorda along with you.
  • 8 of 8: Just call her from either open end of the cart to get her to climb on, and then ride the cart all the way to the end of the tracks.
