Ico Hints
So just where do I get a light?
of 17: There are some torches in this room, but they're all fairly high up.
of 17: Just because the torches are all high up doesn't mean they're all out of reach.
of 17: In fact, the higher the better.
of 17: Look straight up.
of 17: There's a lit chandelier in the middle of the room.
of 17: If only you could get up there.
of 17: You can, in fact.
of 17: Head to the "far" side of the room, to the right of the door leading outside, where you should notice a chain dangling down to the idol doors.
of 17: You should also notice a ladder next to the windows.
of 17: You can't quite jump up to that ladder, but it still is pointing you in the right direction.
of 17: The window ledges aren't quite that high up.
of 17: Jump up to one of the low ones next to the ladder, and then jump up several more times from ledge to ledge. (Move slightly left or right as needed to get to each successive window.)
of 17: When you're above all the windows, you should find a ladder that will let you walk across the rafters at the top of the room.
of 17: Go halfway across, until you're just above the chandelier.
of 17: Walk off the rafters and onto the chandelier, to get the flame you need.
of 17: Well, the chandelier will fall, but that's just as good for you -- maybe even better.
of 17: Some of the candles will land on the "near" side of the bottom of the room, and you can light your stick/torch on those.
