Ico Hints
Shouldn't I have some kind of hit points or life bar or something?
1 of 5: In most action or action/adventure games, yes, but not in Ico.
2 of 5: There are only two ways that you can die.
3 of 5: One is when the spirits take Yorda and escape with her.
4 of 5: The other is when you fall or jump from a very large height. Fortunately, Ico will typically grab onto the edge of a platform if you just accidentally step off the edge, so you generally have to miss a jump to die this way.
5 of 5: That's it. You can even stand right next to an exploding bomb with no permanent damage.
