Where can I find a weapon?

  • 1 of 8: For much of the earlier few stages, your only weapon will be a stick. 
  • 2 of 8: You'll find one in the room where you first found Yorda and then again any time that you need to light a stick as part of a puzzle solution.
  • 3 of 8: The next weapon up, the sword, first appears in Stage 3.
  • 4 of 8: It's in the East Arena.
  • 5 of 8: Later on, you'll also usually find a sword mixed in with the sticks you see whenever you need a light.
  • 6 of 8: There's an even better weapon that you can get by solving a puzzle in a secret area.  Read ahead to learn where it is.
  • 7 of 8: It's in the waterfall area of the "Water and Wood" stage.
  • 8 of 8: Your final weapon will come in the very last stage of the game.  You'll need it to solve a specific puzzle, and there's no way to proceed without it.  I won't say any more than that here -- read the appropriate puzzle hints if you're stuck in that stage.
