Indigo Prophecy Hints
How do I get past these shelves?
1 of 3: These are very strange shelves. The way they seem to work is that they come in banks of four, with the two in the middle being movable. The two on the ends have large wheels you can turn to move the inside shelves. When you turn the large wheel, the shelf next to it will move, if there's an empty space for it to move into.
2 of 3: For example, if you have four shelves, A, B, C, and D, the wheel on A moves B, and the wheel on D moves C. If you had this array of shelves -- AB_CD -- the wheel on A would move B, like so -- A_BCD -- after which the wheel on D (which normally affects C) would do nothing, because there's no space for C to move into. To move C, you'd need to first turn the wheel on A -- AB_CD -- and then turn the wheel on D -- ABC_D. Get it?
3 of 3: These tactics will get you past the first two rows of shelves. After that, it can get a bit trickier. <snicker>
