So who is the Oracle and why is he killing people?
The Oracle is an ancient Mayan shaman who uses ordinary people to make human sacrifices to see into "the other world," defined by Kuriakin as the kingdom of the gods and the dead, where it is possible to hear the voices of the deceased and see into the future. In that place, the Oracle looks for evidence of the location of the Indigo Child. He'll lose his magic if he gets soiled by blood, so he doesn't do the killing himself; instead, he possesses random people like Lucas and uses them to kill. He works for the Orange Clan.
