How do I save?
The game will automatically save your game at various spots, as shown by a brief red flash in the upper right corner of the screen at the beginning of the scene. This, as far as I can tell, is the only way to save the game; there doesn't seem to be any mechanism for saving it yourself or saving at any other spot.
If you select Continue from the main menu, you'll be taken to your last saved spot.
If you select Chapter, you'll be taken to the beginning of the chapter.
If you want to try something new without overwriting what you've already done, select Chapter and either go on without saving or use a new log-in. This will give you two entire games in the menu.
If you want to change log-ins during the game, go to the main menu and select Options, Login Screen. Each log-in preserves any options you select, such as subtitles, difficulty level, and so on.
