I am stuck in the pool room without any directional icons. What should I do?

"There is a known bug in part 7 and 8 where you enter the pool room from the garden and become stuck. The safest thing you can do is to stay out of the pool room for these parts. To explore the Garden, you can go from the Lobby through the pool room, just don't go into the pool room from the Garden. There is a door in the Ballroom that accesses the Garden as well."
