Icewind Dale Hints
The townspeople are suspicious of the new Innkeeper.
1 of 7: Well, maybe you should investigate their suspicions.
2 of 7: Go to the inn, and head upstairs.
3 of 7: In one of the locked crates, you'll find Eidan's Legacy ring, which bequeaths the Inn to the people of Kuldahar.
4 of 7: Bring it back to the Innkeeper, and confront him about it.
5 of 7: You can threaten him, and he'll tell you the whole story if you have the ring.
6 of 7: From there, you can either get cheap rates at the inn, or get 3000+ XP for convincing him to confess.
7 of 7: I suggest getting him to confess. The lowered rates really aren't worth it, since Inns are so cheap anyways.
