Icewind Dale Hints
I found Kresslack. What should I do?
1 of 11: Well, don't attack him. He eats adventurers like you for breakfast.
2 of 11: Instead, take a break from all the killing and talk to him.
3 of 11: Once you talk for long enough, you'll learn he wants you to kill an Ice Priestess of Auril, who is threatening his tomb.
4 of 11: So, take the long trek out and back to the Vale.
5 of 11: You'll find the priestess in the cave to the south of the large platform with the statue on it.
6 of 11: Don't bother talking -- you won't be able to strike a deal with her. Just cut to the chase and attack.
7 of 11: She'll summon a bunch of Yetis, but it's a fairly easy fight.
8 of 11: Once she's dead, loot the cave for a bunch of very nice items.
9 of 11: Note that the priestess was the barmaid Lysan from back in Kuldahar. If you talk to the barkeep, he'll let you have Lysan's stuff (a nice robe).
10 of 11: Now, head all the way back to the bottom of Kresslack's tomb, and tell him the news.
11 of 11: He isn't responsible, but at least you've eliminated one possibility.
