Icewind Dale II Hints

Fetch a message from Kruntur.

  • 1 of 8: Talk to Yquog the demon to get this quest. He's with some goblin whelps down the short tunnel east of Vunarg and his clan (who are past the password door and around to the south).
  • 2 of 8: Kruntur, the goblin who has Yquog's important message, is in the NW section of level 2 of the warren.
  • 3 of 8: There are two ways to approach the NW section once you're on level 2, and both are guarded by servants of Yquog who want a password.
  • 4 of 8: Once you're in Kruntur's camp, talk to him to find out that he won't hand Yquog's message over until he gets his brother's magic bracers back.
  • 5 of 8: Return to Yquog on level 1 and tell him this to get the bracers.
  • 6 of 8: When you hand the bracers over to Kruntur, be sure to ask what Yquog's message contains for lots of bonus XP.
  • 7 of 8: Go give the message to Yquog to finish up the quest and get a random magic weapon.
  • 8 of 8: Now you can kill Yquog and/or Kruntur for more experience and items if you feel up to it.
