Icewind Dale II Hints

End the boring beetle infestation.

  • 1 of 7: This quests starts at the beginning of Chapter 2 when boring beetles board the crashed airship and start robbing the place.
  • 2 of 7: First, get your characters up and kill all the beetles inside the airship.
  • 3 of 7: Then exit the ship and head a short distance north to find the boring beetle nest.
  • 4 of 7: It's a big bashable item, so keep attacking it until it's destroyed.
  • 5 of 7: Finish off any beetles that are running around loose, and the quest is done.
  • 6 of 7: Don't forget to search the nest area to find lots of magical stuff that the beetles stashed there from previous raids.
  • 7 of 7: Also, you can now rest safely inside the airship.
