How do I move on to Chapter 1?
1 of 4: Have you completed all of the Prologue's main quests, including the final goblin attack one?
2 of 4: Once you do that and report to Lord Ulbrec, he'll mark the Shaengarne Ford on your world map.
3 of 4: When you're through looting all the goblin corpses in the Palisade and shopping around, rest up and head out the now-open NW gate in the Palisade area.
4 of 4: Keep going NW along the path until you get a click-wheel cursor, then choose to travel to Shaengarne Ford on the world map. That'll get you into Chapter 1.
