How do I get past the remorhaz queen and the ice barrier near her?
1 of 6: There are two ways.
2 of 6: One is to fight and kill the queen in combat. She'll thrash around and destroy the barrier.
3 of 6: Another way is hinted at by the note you can find near a dead body near the NW corner of the area.
4 of 6: The queen is in heat, is she?
5 of 6: Lead one of the local male remorhaz to her to get that heat fired up and melt the barricade.
6 of 6: Either way, you'll have to deal with a powerful spellcaster named Lord Rengar, who's posted just past the barricade.
