Icewind Dale II Hints
I am inside the den, having used the secret entrance to the temple.
1 of 8: First of all, make sure everyone is all healed up so none of the white abishai will turn hostile.
2 of 8: Then talk to Xhaan, the white abishai leader, with someone who has a high Diplomacy skill.
3 of 8: If you talk to him again after trying one of the doors, you'll have the option of asking him how to open them.
4 of 8: You can then ask to stay until the ritual that requires the doors to open is performed again, which will cause you to sleep there for 24 hours. (Be sure and have your spellcasters set to memorize lots of good combat spells before you do this).
5 of 8: When the doors open, High Priestess Lysara will initiate conversation.
6 of 8: Be sure to ask her who created the glacier and caused your airship to crash, since you get bonus XP for each of those two answers.
7 of 8: Then end the conversation and kill her and all her minions.
8 of 8: Be sure to pick up Lysara's key and the useful winter wolf pelts before you go.
