How can I help Nathaniel?
1 of 11: Have you found him in the prison area yet?
2 of 11: It's in the central western section of level 1 of the temple, NW of the foyer and south from Lysara's ceremonial chamber.
3 of 11: NOTE: If you wait a long time before hunting down Nathaniel or clearing out Lysara's ceremonial chamber, Nathaniel may flee to the rooms east of the foyer. Look for a secret door in the south wall of the east room that you can enter from the foyer.
4 of 11: Talk to Nathaniel about things.
5 of 11: Then free him if you can (and if he's still in his prison cell).
6 of 11: You can try having your rogue lockpick his cell door.
7 of 11: If you want a magic-user to try a spell on the door, you'll first have to remove the anti-magic shell that pervades the prison area. You do this by using Lysara's dais.
8 of 11: If your lockpick and spell don't work, you'll need to get the key from High Priestess Cathin.
9 of 11: She's in the main chapel, which is just east of the prison area.
10 of 11: Once you've opened Nathaniel's cell door, talk to him about recovering his equipment and about what you've learned from the two high priestesses on this level (after you've found and killed them, that is).
11 of 11: You can now rest with Nathaniel and buy healing from him (if the anti-magic shell is off).
