1 of 6: If the character that Thvara talks to when you meet her and Brogrob has a high Intimidate skill, you can scare Brogrob away instead of having to fight him.
2 of 6: If you don't kill all the dire wolves around the wolf den that's near the NW corner of the region, they may attack the village at some point.
3 of 6: Once you talk to Suoma the Elder in the village, you can beg free equipment off of Tahvo and Venla.
4 of 6: Venla the Healer offers healing services and potions and lets you rest safely.
5 of 6: If you have a sorcerer in your party, have him or her speak to Pairi in the village to train her in magic.
6 of 6: Be sure to buy the Protection from Magic scroll from Nym before he leaves (which he'll do after you finish two of Suoma the Elder's quests). It's very useful to use against powerful spellcasting enemies, including Isair and Madae at the end of the game.
