Put the barrow wight Sordirsin to rest.

  • 1 of 10: After you rescue the village children, Suoma sends you to Tahvo the Huntmaster for your next quest, which is to put a certain barrow wight to rest.
  • 2 of 10: You can find the wight named Sordirsin next to his mound near the SW corner of the region.
  • 3 of 10: Talk peacefully to him to find out what his problem is.
  • 4 of 10: He'll eventually say that someone stole his valuable drinking horn.
  • 5 of 10: NOTE: You can fight Sordirsin and his summoned allies for fun and XP and still do this quest. He regenerates and forgets all about the fight every game day.
  • 6 of 10: As for the horn, you need to explore the Fell Wood to find it.
  • 7 of 10: It's on a dead thief in the standing stones section of the woods.
  • 8 of 10: Once you have the drinking horn, exit the woods and return to Sordirsin and hand the horn over. You can then raid his barrow for items, including a sword called Wight's Blade.
  • 9 of 10: NOTE: I've heard, but not verified, that a bard character with a high Diplomacy skill could compose a heroic ballad for Sordirsin in order to get extra XP and keep the drinking horn.
  • 10 of 10: Report back to Tahvo in the village to finish the quest.
