Quest Tips
1 of 2: This game, like Morrowind and some others, doesn't have a nice little quest list that you can look at to see what your current quests are. You simply have a journal that entries are put into, but there are many non-quest entries, so it's kind of hard to tell which ones signify new quests. I've put everything that could be construed as a quest in the "Quests" hint sections, though note that this doesn't include every little XP-getting activity.
2 of 2: Something that the quest-oriented player will definitely want to do is run Icewind Dale II's configuration utility and check the "Display Quest Experience" box under the "Game" tab. That way the game will tell you when you get quest XP and how much you get. (Strange that this feature is turned off by default.)
