Icewind Dale II Hints
Find Conlan's son.
1 of 10: Talk to Conlan in his small village home just east of the passage to the watchtower area to get this quest.
2 of 10: His son Sheemish (sheesh!) hasn't returned from his exploration of Orrick's Tower yet, and Conlan is getting worried.
3 of 10: So go enter the tower at the very NW corner of the village area and see what Sheeshy is up to.
4 of 10: It seems he's discovered a huge collection of magic scrolls and opened up a shop of his own there.
5 of 10: Once you talk to him about it, you can return to Conlan to finish the quest and get some XP and a discount on his supercool magical gear.
6 of 10: But that's not all you can do with Sheemish.
7 of 10: You can increase his inventory by looking at the nearby book that has some incantation-like words in it.
8 of 10: Talk to Sheemish and get him to say the incantation several times.
9 of 10: Then talk to the strange apparition that appears in the room.
10 of 10: You can either buy stuff directly from the apparition, or ask it how to free it in order to get its stuff transferred to Sheemish's inventory.
