Icewind Dale II Hints
Help Mother Egenia's spirit to rest.
1 of 8: You get this quest by talking to Nathaniel in the watchtower and Iselore in the village about Isair and Madae, who were raised by Mother Egenia.
2 of 8: The house, which was burned, is just west of the watchtower.
3 of 8: As Nathaniel tells you, you'll need to finish off Hiepherus and all of his undead before you'll have a chance of speaking to Mother Egenia.
4 of 8: Now visit the burned house at night to find Mother Egenia's spirit there.
5 of 8: Talk to her about Isair and Madae and their fate.
6 of 8: For bonus XP, you can ask for a reading of your future. Also, if your talker has a high Intelligence stat, you can get more bonus XP by asking about Isair and Madae's weakness.
7 of 8: After you tell her what Iselore told you about what happened after she died, the spirit vanishes.
8 of 8: Report to Nathaniel to get even more XP and finish the quest.
