What are some tips on slaying the dragon?
1 of 6: The most important things to do are make your characters as resistant to fear and acid as you can. You can't do a thing if the dragon constantly has you in a panic or fries you with its acid breath.
2 of 6: NOTE: There's a Protection from Acid scroll on the table in one of the large SW rooms in the Serpent's Lair if you need it. The first-level cleric spell Remove Fear will help buffer your characters against panic.
3 of 6: Keep your healing spellcasters away from combat as much as possible until they run out of healing spells.
4 of 6: Casting Haste on everyone just before battle always helps, too.
5 of 6: Summoning undead or other monsters may serve as a brief distraction for the dragon, which can be useful because it tends to focus its attacks on one character, making that character's HP go down really fast.
6 of 6: I've heard that other players have occasionally had success casting Disintegrate on the dragon, so you might want to try that. (A Disintegrate scroll can be bought from Sheemish in the Kuldahar village area.)
