How can I get past the "Sseth's Eye" thing that keeps chasing me off?
1 of 9: The room guarded by the eye can be found by heading north and a bit east from the slime room with the timed doors. See the following link if you need to find out how to open those doors.
2 of 9: The eye gadget will chase off anyone it doesn't like the looks of so that they can't enter the room beyond it.
3 of 9: Unfortunately, you need to enter the room beyond it to do something essential.
4 of 9: Only yuan-ti-type creatures can escape the fear effect of Sseth's Eye, so you'll have to figure out how to transform one of your characters into some sort of yuan-ti temporarily.
5 of 9: You start by completing Nheero Fhutma's quest if you haven't already.
6 of 9: Then, once the eye chases you off at least once, go find Fhutma and tell him about it. He'll either be in the NW chamber on level 2 or in one of the libraries if you directed him there for research.
7 of 9: He'll give you another sabotaged histachii potion, so return to a room adjacent to the Sseth's Eye room and have one of your characters drink the potion.
8 of 9: Have that character alone, in histachii form, stagger into the room past the eye and see what there is to see in there.
9 of 9: NOTE: The histachii conversion wears off after a few hours or when you rest uninterrupted.
