Icewind Dale II Hints
Heal Valin the Diviner.
1 of 9: Talk to Lady Elytharra in the town hall building until she mentions that the local diviner is ill.
2 of 9: Find Valin Geldencross in the temple pavilion and talk to him.
3 of 9: Tell him Lady Elytharra sent you, and he'll mention braehg.
4 of 9: That's the stuff that Guthewulfe Henghelm in the Docks' tavern thinks he's so tough for drinking.
5 of 9: So go to the Salty Dog Tavern and buy or pickpocket a flask of braehg from him.
6 of 9: Then return to Valin and give him the braehg to help him recover.
7 of 9: NOTE: If you have your rogue pickpocket Valin before you give him the braehg, you can get a note that he wrote for you in case you decided to pick his pockets. If you get the note, you can ask him for a reward after giving him the braehg. (Also, you'll know to only give him a drop, thereby saving your flask.)
8 of 9: He'll tell you about his failed attempt to scry the location of the goblin fortress and about his vision of a mysterious woman leading you there.
9 of 9: When you're done talking to him, return to Elytharra for a reward.
