1 of 13: Perhaps we should ask the people you got the chronicle itself from.
2 of 13: Head back to the British guards at the gate, and ask them what happened to the missing pages.
3 of 13: They will be able to provide you with the names of the three previous people who borrowed the document.
4 of 13: The first was Gopesh, the proprietor of Pop's supermarket.
5 of 13: If you head over and ask him, unfortunately he will tell you that he returned the document in perfect condition.
6 of 13: The second person mentioned was Rupiah, the realtor in the marketplace.
7 of 13: Head there next, and ask her whether she took the missing pages.
8 of 13: No such luck -- she also claims to have returned the document in perfect condition.
9 of 13: The third person mentioned was Louise, the old grandmother in the marketplace.
10 of 13: Head there and ask her.
11 of 13: Aha! Looks like she took the pages.
