How can I repair the boat using the paintbrush?
1 of 10: First off, you're going to need to find a substance you can use to mend the hole in the ship, and then you are going to need to melt that substance down.
2 of 10: The substance used to fix the ship will be described as such if Jack examines it.
3 of 10: You can pick up some tar from the road outside the Punjab Inn.
4 of 10: You then need a way to heat that tar up.
5 of 10: Did you notice that you can climb up the ledge next to the caged plant, and get onto the roof of the guard house?
6 of 10: You may also have noticed that there is a smoking chimney here -- that must be putting out a fair amount of heat!
7 of 10: Use your tar with the chimney.
8 of 10: Hmm... looks like that the pot with the tar in it ended up outside of the building.
9 of 10: You can grab it, and take it with you back to the boat.
10 of 10: Now use the paintbrush on the boat and Jack will automatically paint it with the tar to seal the hole.
