How can I get through the hatch to the next level down?

  • 1 of 13: You are going to need to use some explosives to blow through the hatch.
  • 2 of 13: However, first of all you are going to need to FIND those explosives -- they're in this room somewhere.
  • 3 of 13: The explosives are actually held inside the container atop the bookshelf with the ladder beside it.
  • 4 of 13: However, we can't move the ladder over to reach it because it is tied to the desk.
  • 5 of 13: After the knot has been untied you can push the ladder over to the container, which will knock it to the ground.
  • 6 of 13: Open the container and take the dynamite inside.
  • 7 of 13: You can then place the dynamite on the hatch.
  • 8 of 13: You will now need to find a source of ignition.
  • 9 of 13: This is a large, glaringly obvious item.
  • 10 of 13: Take the large matchstick from the chair, and light it.
  • 11 of 13: There are plenty of flames in the room, as it's burning down, so take your pick!
  • 12 of 13: Light the match on the staircase flames, then use that to ignite the dynamite.
  • 13 of 13: You can then progress down to the ground floor.
