Jack Keane Hints

How can I distract Miss Gristle?

  • 1 of 14: Notice that Miss Gristle hates muddy footprints. Particularly those caused by the gorilla.
  • 2 of 14: Perhaps we could cause the gorilla to make a bit of a mess?
  • 3 of 14: Notice that if you try to talk to the gorilla, he gets up, walks around a bit, then lays back on his sofa.
  • 4 of 14: Also notice that his feet are selectable. Let's muddy 'em up ;)
  • 5 of 14: To make mud, you need two components. Liquid, and dirt.
  • 6 of 14: The dirt, or soil, can be found out on the balcony where we began the chapter.
  • 7 of 14: As for the liquid... well, we're in a mansion aren't we?
  • 8 of 14: Maybe we could have the help provide us with a drink?
  • 9 of 14: Speak with Miss Gristle and eventually the conversation will turn to asking for a glass of lemonade.
  • 10 of 14: She will rush off to get you some (and will return if you try to enter Doctor T's office).
  • 11 of 14: When she returns, you can put the soil into the bottle of lemonade to create mud.
  • 12 of 14: Rub it on the gorilla's feet, and speak with him again, and he will leave a nice collection of muddy footprints on the clean floor.
  • 13 of 14: You now only need to pop back upstairs and alert Miss Gristle to the newly-dirtied floor.
  • 14 of 14: She won't be pleased, but she'll step away from the door and allow you inside. :)
