How can I get my knife out of the grandfather clock?
1 of 10: The only access to the clock's innards is via the slot at the top.
2 of 10: And your knife is magnetic.
3 of 10: Did you ever play those little games when you were younger where you had to use a small magnetic fishing rod to catch a small magnetic fish?
4 of 10: That's the name of the game here -- construct a makeshift magnetic fishing rod of sorts, and use it to "catch" the knife.
5 of 10: Both of the items you need can be found without going through any doors.
6 of 10: You are going to need something to work as the fishing line, and something magnetic to tie to the end of that.
7 of 10: There's a magnet holding a notice to the message board, just to the right of the door to the foyer. Grab that!
8 of 10: As for the string, there's a perfectly suitable item lurking at the bottom of the staircase.
9 of 10: Grab the long strand of fiber from the mop, and attach your magnet to it.
