1 of 7: You only have access to a very limited number of choices here, so finding the solution through trial and error shouldn't be difficult.
2 of 7: See the fountain pen on the floor? Pick it up, you're going to need it.
3 of 7: Now look through your inventory and use it on an item, then hand that item to Miss Gristle.
4 of 7: A document, that needs a couple of details filling in.
5 of 7: The form that stated Amanda was to be fired is the item you need.
6 of 7: Jack will change the name to Miss Gristle's, and sign it with today's date -- effectively firing her.
7 of 7: She will leave the room (and the game) as soon as you hand her the letter.
