How can I get past the boulder blocking the stairs?

  • 1 of 11: You're going to need to be destructive here.
  • 2 of 11: Think of the way miners would get boulders out of the way when excavating.
  • 3 of 11: You are going to blow the rock to smithereens, and all of the tools needed to do so are at your disposal here on the cliffside.
  • 4 of 11: You're going to need some explosives, a container for them, a fuse, and a source of ignition.
  • 5 of 11: Once you have all four components, combine them and place them in a spot near the troublesome boulder.
  • 6 of 11: Begin by placing the gunpowder inside the piggy-bank.
  • 7 of 11: Next, attach the fuse to the bomb.
  • 8 of 11: You now need to go up to the boulder and find a small crack you can place the bomb in.
  • 9 of 11: You'll find such a place, labeled as a crevice, just to the left of the rock.
  • 10 of 11: Place it in there, then light it with either your lighter or lens.
  • 11 of 11: Jack will run away automatically and the boulder will be smashed to bits.
