The Lions of Two Rivers

  • 1 of 15: You can first get this quest when you start the "Find Dawn Star" task in the "A Master's Teachings" main quest.
  • 2 of 15: To get the quest, click on the giant lion statue in Master Li's quarters and choose to approach the altar, but then leave instead of destroying it.
  • 3 of 15: Before you can do anything useful with the altar, you'll need to find some items to put on it.
  • 4 of 15: Open the chest near the lion statue to get three colored lion figurines.
  • 5 of 15: Click on the lion statue and choose to approach the altar again.
  • 6 of 15: You can now place the colored lion figurines on the altar.
  • 7 of 15: You'll get a mere silver piece and 1 XP for your efforts. However, the quest isn't over yet.
  • 8 of 15: You need to figure out where to spend that one silver piece.
  • 9 of 15: Look along the path behind Master Li's quarters for the answer.
  • 10 of 15: There's a tomb back there that you can interact with.
  • 11 of 15: Choose to put your silver coin into the bowl in order to get a lion head token.
  • 12 of 15: Return to the lion statue in Master Li's quarters and approach its altar again.
  • 13 of 15: Now you have the option to put the token from the Old Master's tomb in the lion's mouth.
  • 14 of 15: Then you need to put the colored lion figurines on the altar again, but the rules of order have changed.
  • 15 of 15: When you step back from the altar after placing the figurines correctly, you'll get the Gaze of the Lion technique.
