Soldier's Offer
1 of 11: You get this quest after finishing the "Win the Third Silver Match" task on the "The Imperial Arena" quest if you allowed the guild to poison Crimson Khana earlier.
2 of 11: Qui said that Iron Soldier wants to talk to you down in the creature pens, so find the nearby pen entrance and use it.
3 of 11: You'll find Iron Soldier and Pretty Li-Li standing near the pens' NE corner.
4 of 11: Talk to him to get him to make you an interesting offer.
5 of 11: If you want to take him up on it, leave the creature pens and find General Kao. (Otherwise, just skip the rest of this quest.)
6 of 11: He's standing next to the city gates that are just SE of your base camp in the Market District.
7 of 11: Challenge him to a duel to the death, then listen to the story of why he discharged Iron Soldier from the Imperial army.
8 of 11: You could refuse to go through with the duel, but that would end this quest early, and without you getting rewarded.
9 of 11: So go ahead and fight him to the death, then return to the arena.
11 of 11: The difference now will be that Iron Soldier won't actually attack you, making your victory very easy, and you'll get some extra silver after it's over.
