Trapped

  • 1 of 7: Approach the ship docked at the very SE corner of town and talk to Captain Ing after he talks to members of his rebellious crew.
  • 2 of 7: He needs you to close the dam so his ship can leave, so go do the "The Great Dam" quest, choosing to close the dam instead of sabotaging it.
  • 3 of 7: After closing the dam, go back along the walkway to reach a spot where several soldiers will attack you.
  • 4 of 7: After they're down, use the lever in the nearby gazebo to lower the bridge if you haven't already, then go across it. (It's the only way to get back to town now that the ruins are flooded again.)
  • 5 of 7: When you get to town, you'll be approached by a messenger who gives you your reward of 2300 silver.
  • 6 of 7: The next time you approach the teahouse, Merchant Jiang and two of his thugs will attack you for not sabotaging the dam like he wanted you to.
  • 7 of 7: Also, now that the dam is closed, you can talk to Merchant Cheung up in the merchant area and look at his new inventory of gems and styles.
