Gems in the Quarry
1 of 17: You can get this quest in the ruins while doing the "Close the Great Dam" task on the "The Great Dam" main quest.
2 of 17: The talkative rat demon that you fight early on in your exploration of the ruins will give you this quest after you beat him into submission.
3 of 17: After the rat demon tells you about the wall that the assassins are about to blow up, let him go as agreed if you want some Open Palm points, or kill him anyway if you want Closed Fist points.
4 of 17: Go south through the gate to the next ruins area, which is where the weak wall and rocket setup are.
5 of 17: As soon as you enter the area, turn right and find the "Rockets" item that's near a lever and a big house.
6 of 17: The rat demon said you'd need to add dragon powder to the rockets before they'd fire, so click on the "Rockets" item to do so if you already have the powder.
7 of 17: Then click on the "Rockets" item again to fire the rockets and blow up the wall (and the soldiers near it if you haven't already fought them).
8 of 17: Go past the blown-up wall to enter the quarry area and find some ghosts to fight.
9 of 17: Use focus mode to help you take them down quickly so they can't keep freezing you with their icy attacks.
10 of 17: Look for a couple of headstones to loot, then go to the quarry's NE corner to encounter Stabber Yuxi's ghost.
11 of 17: After you defeat him and a couple of other ghosts, find the northern exit that leads to a separate quarry region.
12 of 17: When you come to a cave room with a water pool on the floor, four convict ghosts will appear and surround you, getting in a free shot before the battle starts.
13 of 17: Kill them off and then search the cave for lootable bones before going down the passage to the north.
14 of 17: After passing through an empty cave chamber, you'll come to the one that Strangler Jizu and his followers hang out at.
15 of 17: Talk to him a bit, then prepare for a very hard combat with him and his followers.
16 of 17: After Jizu is defeated, Turnkey Shiji will appear and talk to you.
17 of 17: This subquest will finally be over when Shiji gives you the Wanderer's Jewel, but don't forget to look around for other loot before returning to the ruins.
