Jade Empire Hints
The Drowned Orphans
1 of 10: You can get this quest in the ruins while doing the "Close the Great Dam" task on the "The Great Dam" main quest.
2 of 10: Enter the abandoned orphanage building in the third ruins section (the one with the rocket setup) and kill the rat demon when it attacks you.
3 of 10: Then talk to the two orphan ghosts who appear to get this quest.
4 of 10: They need you to either kill Kindly Yushan or get him to come bury their bones.
5 of 10: Yushan is back in town, so loot the chest inside the orphanage and then run back to town.
6 of 10: The boy ghost mentioned the teahouse, so go inside it and look around.
7 of 10: You'll find Kindly Yushan standing in the SW corner of the teahouse's upper-floor walkway.
8 of 10: When you talk to him, there are some dialogue options available that will end in you killing him and taking his head. You could do that and return to the orphanage, but that's not the best way, even for Closed Fist players.
9 of 10: Instead, convince Yushan to accompany you to the orphanage.
10 of 10: After you arrive, you can choose to tell Yushan to bury the children's bones (Open Palm way) or you can let Miao have her revenge on him (Closed Fist way).
