1 of 8: This is a continuation of a main quest you first got in Chapter 2.
2 of 8: Go to the plot items section of your journal screen and click on the note from Princess Lian.
3 of 8: It says to meet her in the pavilion at the entrance to the Scholars' Garden, so that's where you need to go.
4 of 8: In the Market District, find the gate to the Golden Way in the SE corner and go through it.
5 of 8: The exit to the Scholars' Garden is at the other end (SE corner) of the Golden Way.
6 of 8: The princess will, in the guise of Silk Fox, talk to you in a cut-scene as soon as you enter the Scholars' Garden area.
7 of 8: She'll tell you that you'll need to infiltrate the Lotus Assassins, and she'll set you onto two ways that you can do that.
8 of 8: After that, she'll join you as a companion.
