Find Dawn Star

  • 1 of 6: After checking out Smiling Mountain's new gem inventory, go through the gate that leads to town.
  • 2 of 6: You'll learn from some villagers that Gao the Lesser came by there recently, dragging a sack that might have had Dawn Star in it.
  • 3 of 6: Before you go chasing him, you might want to look around for a few optional things to do.
  • 4 of 6: When you're ready to chase Gao, approach the gate that's at the north end of the NW sector of town.
  • 5 of 6: You'll find Guard Yung unconscious on the ground, and you'll be attacked by six of Gao's mercenaries if you can't intimidate them into running away.
  • 6 of 6: After you defeat them, talk to Guard Yung to learn that Gao has probably gone to the swamps.
