Jade Empire Hints
The starting "tutorial" fight won't ever end!
1 of 6: That's because this isn't a real fight -- you're not supposed to just attack Jing Woo any way you want to until he's defeated. (Not yet, anyway.)
2 of 6: You need to follow the instructions given near the bottom of the screen.
3 of 6: For instance, your first instruction is to try to hit Jing Woo several times, so move in on him and hit the Attack button several times.
4 of 6: When the words "Well Done!" appear, you've finished that section of the tutorial combat, so look for new instructions.
5 of 6: Eventually, you'll be asked to defeat Jing Woo, meaning you can do it using whatever moves you choose.
6 of 6: After that and a bit more dialogue, Chapter 1 will begin.
