The Journeyman Project 3: Legacy of Time Hints

How do I get inside the temple?

  • 1 of 17: Talk to the guard, and see what he tells you.
  • 2 of 17: He won't be very friendly to the beggar, but he will give the information you need to any of the other guises that you can take at this point.
  • 3 of 17: You might be able to get in if you were making a delivery of pottery or olive oil or if you had a medallion to access the temple.
  • 4 of 17: You can now go to the potter's and oil vendor's shops.  Go talk to them and see if they can be of any help.
  • 5 of 17: Look around their shops, and you should be able to put together something to help you get in the temple.
  • 6 of 17: First of all, notice the pot in the oil vendor's shop that has the symbol of the temple on it.
  • 7 of 17: You can't pick it up, but the symbol might still be useful.
  • 8 of 17: Try copying it -- you might be able to use the symbol in another way.
  • 9 of 17: There is some raw clay in the potter's shop, that you can get out a dispenser.
  • 10 of 17: Put the clay on the symbol on the pot, and you've made a duplicate of it.
  • 11 of 17: That duplicate is about the right shape for the medallion you're supposed to make.
  • 12 of 17: Raw clay isn't going to work, though -- you also need to bake it.
  • 13 of 17: But the medallion is supposed to be gold.
  • 14 of 17: Put the clay in the kiln and then put the gold leaf on top of it.
  • 15 of 17: Then, turn the wheel just outside the kiln to bake the clay, and you're ready to go inside.
  • 16 of 17: Just make sure that you take the form of a native Atlantian (either the potter or olive oil vendor), and then show your medallion to the guard.
  • 17 of 17: You then need to get the ferryman to take you.  If you took another form when the ferryman brought you to the temple entrance, you may have to take that form again to get him to take you into the temple.  It won't matter if that form does not belong to a native.
