Jewels of the Oracle II -- Gems of Darkness Hints

Unilateral Triangular Symmetry

  • 1 of 6: This is similar to the Pentominoes puzzle.
  • 2 of 6: Note that there are more spaces in the puzzle (36) than total units in the pieces (35). This means that the result will have one blank unit.
  • 3 of 6: Fit all of the pieces into the puzzle.
  • 4 of 6: Pieces may be rotated or flipped.  (Flipping occurs after rotating -- three positions on one side, three positions on the other.)
  • 5 of 6: The starting piece for the Easy puzzle is shown in the Professor's journal.
  • 6 of 6: The Hard Puzzle is a mirror image of the Easy puzzle.
