Jewels of the Oracle II -- Gems of Darkness Hints
The End Game Puzzle
of 23: The puzzle consists of the two panels behind the doors to the right of the begin-game position.
of 23: The critical clue needed to solve the end game will be displayed on the outside of the panel doors only after all 24 gems have been collected.
of 23: This clue consists of 6 pairs of symbols, with each symbol representing one of the earlier 24 puzzles.
of 23: Play with the gems on the left panel; see what's under them.
of 23: The gems are in the same order as in the box at the top of the screen.
of 23: It is imperative to know the position of each of the 24 gems.
of 23: More than one panel is available on the right-hand side.
of 23: The right-hand panels can be cycled by pressing the square in the upper left corner of the panel.
of 23: Not all panels are necessary to solve the end game puzzle.
of 23: The six pairings in the final clue relate to the right-hand panel.
of 23: Each panel is a 7x7 grid. The six pairings in the final clue do not refer to the contents of any of the 49 squares in any of the nine panels.
of 23: The pairings represent coordinates of a specific grid element in one of the panels.
of 23: The coordinates of different clue "tokens" will not all apply to the same panel.
of 23: The six pairings in the clues do not represent row/column information.
of 23: They represent column/row information.
of 23: For each of the six, cycle through the panels on the right and find the column/row entry that matches that pair (there will be only one).
of 23: For each matching grid element pair, what is unusual?
of 23: For each of the six matches, the grid element pair shows the same symbol twice!
of 23: Note that symbol, and which one of the six clue pairings it goes with.
of 23: Do this for all six of the clue pairings.
of 23: You should end up with six different gem representations.
of 23: Click on those gems, in the order given by the clue "tokens".
of 23: Solving the end game plays a cut scene showing the true treasure of the Kavi.
