Jewels of the Oracle II -- Gems of Darkness Hints

Mazes

  • 1 of 11: If you have played the original Jewels of the Oracle, you may remember the six-sided cube maze.
  • 2 of 11: Play with the four controls to see what they do.
  • 3 of 11: There are several maze "plates" that make up the whole.
  • 4 of 11: Note that one maze has a yellow "end point".  The goal of the puzzle is to move the marble to this end point.
  • 5 of 11: You cannot change the maze that is currently holding the marble.
  • 6 of 11: Get familiar with moving the marble around a single maze.
  • 7 of 11: When two mazes are side-by-side, the marble can be moved to the other maze if, and only if, there are entry/exit points that match between the two.
  • 8 of 11: Make a note of which maze "plates" match which, in terms of entry/exit points.
  • 9 of 11: You will need to puzzle out which mazes to use to get you to the end point.
  • 10 of 11: You may need to go back and forth several times between different maze plates.
  • 11 of 11: If you get stuck, try starting at the end and mentally working backwards.
