Jack the Ripper Hints

How do I get out of the freezer without freezing to death?

  • 1 of 15: You're going to have to fix the other door, and you don't have a lot of time to do it.
  • 2 of 15: It works just like the door on this side --
  • 3 of 15: -- except it's missing the weight that makes the mechanism work.
  • 4 of 15: You need to find something you can use as a weight.
  • 5 of 15: It has to be exactly the right weight; if it's too light it won't open the door, and if it's too heavy it will break the mechanism.
  • 6 of 15: Look closer at the mechanism on the working door to see what weight you need.
  • 7 of 15: It has a sign that says "55 lbs."
  • 8 of 15: If you want to, you can go back into the freezer and check the mechanism on the other door; it has a sign that says "Not more than 65 lbs." So that gives you your parameters: 55-65 pounds.
  • 9 of 15: The rope on the other door has a hook on the end.
  • 10 of 15: Looks like a meathook, doesn't it?
  • 11 of 15: So let's use some meat.
  • 12 of 15: The only takeable carcass is inside the freezer.
  • 13 of 15: Open the door, turn left, grab a chunk of meat, and get out again.
  • 14 of 15: Now you just need to make sure it's the right weight.
  • 15 of 15: There's a scale right by the door. Weigh it to find out if it's the right size.
