I walked through the arches, but now I can't go anywhere!
Try moving Ariane off of the edge of the screen, sometimes even off of the path slightly. Sometimes you'll get the little feet "movement" cursor, sometimes you won't. (A serious design flaw in this game, which is most prominent here.)
