Journey to the Center of the Earth Hints
How can I push the car into the sea?
1 of 6: The car moves along a track. It will still do so when it gets going, but it will stop at the end of the docks against the bumpers placed there for that very reason. Those bumpers are in the way.
2 of 6: The cart needs to ride -over- those bumpers.
3 of 6: A strong, flat piece of metal would make a good running board.
4 of 6: After the sheet metal is in place at the end of the tracks, return to the screen with the cart. Look carefully near the cart for an illusive "hot spot".
5 of 6: Notice the triangular shaped, short pillar near the cart. That's the switching mechanism, which changes tracks. The "hot spot" is in between it and the car.
6 of 6: Wear the gloves and then click on that spot. (You may also need to click on the car to give it a push.)
