... Working with "Hot Spots"
I will try to cover all of these quirky situations in the hints where they apply.
In some cases you'll find hot-spots that stay "active" even though you've done everything you can with it. Ignore them.
Sometimes you may not see the "hot spot" at all! While there are some bugs in the game that cause this, it can also mean something else needs to be done. For instance, until Ariane learns that she needs a particular object, there will not be a hot spot there.
There are some screens in which Ariane actually walks in front of an important "hot spot" so that it can't be seen. In those cases, move her slightly out of the way.
