Journey to the Center of the Earth Hints

Explanation of Line 1 and 2

  • 1 of 3: The first two lines read:
The Occident is the opposite of the Orient
Our story begins as the sun rises
  • 2 of 3: If you have a dictionary handy, look up Orient and Occident.
  • 3 of 3: Occident and Orient are West and East, and they are opposites.  The sun rises in the East.  So, the first two lines tell you to start on the left (East/Orient) side of the circle when placing the tiles.
