1 of 3: The first two lines read: The Occident is the opposite of the Orient Our story begins as the sun rises
2 of 3: If you have a dictionary handy, look up Orient and Occident.
3 of 3: Occident and Orient are West and East, and they are opposites. The sun rises in the East. So, the first two lines tell you to start on the left (East/Orient) side of the circle when placing the tiles.
