Karma: Curse of the 12 Caves Hints
Solution
This solution uses the following abbreviations to represent the various block sizes used in The Last Pedestal of Buddha:
S = The smallest (1 unit x 1 unit) blocks
V = The vertical (1 unit x 2 units) rectangular blocks
H = The horizontal (2 units x 1 unit) rectangular block
L = The large (2 units x 2 units) square block
This solution describes the MOVEMENT of a block. In all cases, there is only one block that fits the description and that can move in the way indicated. The four possible directions of movement are:
U = Up
D = Down
R = Right
L = Left
(Example: 'V-R' means move one of the vertical blocks one unit to the right. There will only be one vertical block which can move in that manner at that time.)
If the same block is to be moved more than one unit, it will be indicated in the same line. (Example: 'S-DL' means move a small block Down 1 unit and Left 1 unit. 'V-DD' means move a vertical block Down twice.)
Note that the second-to-last movement ('S-D') could be ambiguous, since there are two Small blocks that could move down. However, since the objective in the next step is to move the Large block to the Left, selecting which Small block to move down should be obvious.
